Thank you for this. Possible CTDs aside, not having an optional level cap 101 version is a missed opportunity. :D
Lol I didn't even think of that yeah it would have been brilliant

Trading scrap metal to the megaton mechanic. Crashes at level 100 no matter what. I like the mod except for that.

That's because the engine cant do triple number levels or something like that.Max level is 99 since the engine doesnt shit itself with that.

You dont need this anymore, you can edit game settings via Stewie's Tweaks

Can you please help me accomplish that? I've been painstakingly trying to setup TTW for a day and a half and I'm finally getting close to a complete setup.

I have installed stewie tweaks and the provided ini from the nexus, and I know I've done at least something right because I noticed that changing the hold space to jump continuously script was working. I also think I noticed a difference in experience gained when I changed:

[Reduced XP]

; multiplier applied to XP, the result is rounded up
fXPMultiplier = 1.000000

to the 1.00

Unfortunately though when I hit lvl 3 I was not given a perk. The two major settings I want changed are iMaxCharacterLevel = 99 or 100, and to gain 1 perk for every level gained. Despite plenty of the stuff stewie tweaks provides being awesome I could live without it.
I changed :
" ; perks to earn per level
iPerksPerLevel = 0 "

from 0 to 1, thought that would do it but again i hit level 3 and didn't get to chose another perk. If anyone can offer a suggestion I'd be greatful.

P.S. Using MO2 - I have to access the nvse_stewie_tweaks.ini through the "overwrite" tab that appears under your mod list, navigating to the plugins folder of nvse and right click it to find the ini with settings I can edit.

I posted a little while ago about the perk per level setting not functioning properly...I think it's more of a poor description kind of thing at this point. Unless I'm wrong and you can set the perk choice to happen at every level up I think what this line should be described as is perks per 2 levels or whatever the FNV gradation is. setting it to 1 effectively gets you .5 perks per level, 2 so far has given me 1 per level.

Either way the command works and if the gradation changes I'll just have to edit the number when i feel I'm falling behind in perks but if someone ever has to edit that line someday it might help some poor noob like me if it were more accurately described. That being the case I'll assume the iMaxCharacterLevel line also works fine and I'll just play happily, or at least as happily as I can with FPS going from 60 to 20 alsmost randomly...still some work to do i guess lol.

I could not find the line "iLevelsPerPerk" anywhere in the stewie tweaks ini. I added it myself directly under the PerksPerLevel line like this:
- I assumed the stuff after a ; is just a descriptor of what any given line might do so that's why I added it in this way, so i could keep track of it myself.

; holding shift ignores friendly NPCs when entering VATS
bShiftIgnoresFriendlyVATS = 0

; perks to earn per level
iPerksPerLevel = 2

; levels between perks
iLevelsPerPerk = 1

; list missing mods in the "Content is Missing" popup when loading a save
bListMissingModsOnLoad = 0

Unfortunately I am still only getting perk choices every 2nd level up so I guess I don't fully understand how to implement the line.It's not really that big a deal but if it's something simple you already know the answer to I'd appreciate the help.

Thanks.
