Maybe it's just me, but FNVEdit doesn't seem to save form list edits that I'm making. Is there a specific way to do it?
Edit: Nevermind, I found a work around.

whenever you find a fix/workaround to a problem, please post it. you might not be the only one with that issue
Good point! I was working on my MMUE patch and FNVEdit wouldn't save the repurposed form lists so I had to recreate them and change all calling references to said form lists. Not really a work around per se... but a solution non-the-less.
Can you please provide a test esp (preferably using only vanilla files) and/or instructions to reproduce the issue?
@Thatchor, you're relatively new around here, so you probably don't know that Zilav is one of the devs for FNVEdit. that's why he was asking what he did. if you give him enough info, maybe the next version of FNVEdit won't have this problem
Didn't know that! I intend to get you an .esp. Hopefully tonight when I'm done with work for the day. It was happening when I was trying to (idiotically) combine the repurposed MMUE formlists. Rather than flat out deleting unused formlists, the MMUE creators changed the form IDs and content. I wasn't able to save changes to them. If you get impatient, you could always load up the MMUE .esp and try to add stuff to it and see what happens. I'll get a clear cut example later though!
If you were trying add items to lists contained in FalloutNV.esm IN FalloutNV.esm, it won't let you do that by design, to keep from messing up the master file. So it's not an error, but a safety feature. All edits should be made in plugins.
Haha, nah, I wasn't trying to edit NV directly. It was being right through the MMUE .esp
just to clarify, you were trying to edit form lists in the MMUE esp with FNVEdit, and when you tried to save your edits, the MMUE esp would not save
if that's the case, then i would say that there is something seriously wrong with the MMUE esp.
...or maybe it's file attributes are set for read only?

Correct.

Nope, this is the first thing I checked actually. And some form lists, as well as other edits, were saving. I was also able to delete them too. It was the repurposed ones that I wasn't able to add anything to, except through the GECK (I think).
