I can't get MCM to work

Post by Bkrugbyprop » Wed Jun 23, 2021 4:17 am

IDK what it is, but I have been having the worst possible time trying to get MCM to work. The game detects that it is installed but gives me two messages. One showing that it's trying to detect it but it can't and something about a firewall or something. I really should have taken a photo.

Anyways, on the mod page some suggested installing One Hud and UIO. Installed those, same issue. Installed the bug fix. Same issue.

I feel like I have followed all the instructions. I had it low in my LO, didn't work. Moved it up as high as I could, still didn't work.

My last resort is simply to play without mods that require MCM but I really would rather not so I hope someone here can help.

Like you said, you should get screenshots of the errors. I have never seen a mod say anything about a firewall before.

Thanks. I disabled Darnified and that "fixed" the issue, so must have something to do with installing that mod.

It actually seems to be fairly common, a lot of the posts on the MCM mod page bring this issue up.

Probably just a load order problem, then. Darn should load after MCM, and then use UIO to inject the MCM <include> into Darn.

Hmm. I may try that out some time again just to see if it does work or not. Thanks for replying,
